On January 22, 2009, Martin I. Boyer, MD, MSC, FRCS (C), was installed as the Carol B. and Jerome T. Loeb Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery.  During the installation ceremony, Dr. Boyer gave a lecture entitled, “The Education of Undergraduate Medical Students in Musculoskeletal Surgery and Medicine:  A Decade at Washington University”.  There were more than 100 attendees at the ceremony—a mixture of Dr. Boyer’s family and friends, faculty, staff, residents and medical students.
